The Board of Aldermen has designated certain official holidays to be observed for the Town's employees as follows:  New Year's Day - January 1; Martin Luther King's Birthday - 3rd Monday in January; Good Friday - Friday preceding Easter Sunday; Memorial Day - last Monday in May; Independence Day - July 4th; Labor Day - 1st Monday in September; Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following - 4th Thursday and Friday in November; Christmas Eve - December 24th; and Christmas Day - December 25th.

Please note that Town hall will be closed on these days.
