Public Hearings- Plat, Off Street Parking & Loading

The City of Talty Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council shall hold public hearings and consider action on a proposed minor and conveyance plat for a Dollar Tree on PID 16097. Additionally, the City Council shall also hold a hearing on zoning amendments related to off street parking and loading.  Following their public hearings, the both groups shall consider action on the topics.


The proposed plat involves PID 16097, a 2.909 acre parcel in the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction and generally located at the Helms Trail and FM 1641 intersection on the undeveloped area across Helms Trail from a day care. The proposal divides the parcel into three lots, the largest of which shall be 1.1777 acres for a Dollar Tree. Lots 2 and 3 shall be 0.08563 and 0.06649 acres, respectively, and included as conveyances.


The Planning & Zoning Commission public hearing shall take place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2023. The City Council public hearings shall take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. All hearings will be held at Trinity Family Church, 107 Piedmont Path off the intersection of I-20 and FM 1641.
