Talty City Council, acting as the Board of Adjustment, shall conduct a public hearing and consider action on a request for a side setback variance related to the construction of a  building at 9142 CR 216 aka Bunny Run. The parcel is identified as PID 24258 on the Kaufman Central Appraisal district website. The public hearing will take place on August 18, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Talty City Hall, 9700 CR 213, Talty TX 75126.

This variance only seeks approval of a 4.5 foot side setback. A 10-foot side setback is required in City codes. The large steel frame in front of the main building line will be taken down. This variance will allow the previously started structure parallel to the fence and behind the existing structure to be completed. Storage is the alleged, stated use of the proposed project.

This notice has been posed and can be viewed at city hall and on the City website. Property owners within 500 feet shall be notified by mail.
