City maintained roads will be improved during this latter part of September. You will notice extensive crack sealing being done through an agreement with Texana Land and Asphalt, perhaps as early as Tuesday, September 7.  Following a curing period, crews plan to return the week of September 28 to chip seal the roadways. 

Many citizens will recall when Talty improved  CR 213, CR 215, CR 216, Cleaver Lane, Douglas Circle and George Trail during 2017-2019. Long term planning called for periodic crack sealing and, less frequently, chip sealing. This is the first chip sealing project. The City planned accordingly and has existing funds to cover all associated costs. 

The City and Texana had discussions about scheduling work in a manner to minimize traffic inconvenience, especially along CR 213 along the Catholic church properties.
